In the wintersemester 2023/24 the illustration class of University of Arts Berlin was working with moving pictures. In the broad sense this could be anything: Animation, movies or performative work. The overall topic to work on were clubs, Vereine, that make up a big part of german communal life.

I made a pop-up book about Kleingartenvereine which are small rentable gardens in a city where garden space is usually rare. Each page deals with a specific law that is put in place to make sure the garden is exactly handled due to the guidelines of the Kleingartenverein. It’s screen printed in two colors and made entirely by hand.
